The Unlearning Method

A trauma-informed, evidence-based, and spiritually integrated approach to transformation.

The Unlearning Method is the philosophy and framework that guides all of my work inside The Unlearning Co.

It was shaped through lived experience and grounded training, blending psychology, somatic practices, energy healing and spiritual integration.

At its heart, The Unlearning Method is about loosening the roles, beliefs, and survival patterns that once kept you safe but no longer serve the life you want to live. It creates the space to step into a way of living that feels more authentic, grounded, and free.

So often, we know what isn't working — yet still feel unable to change it. The Unlearning Method bridges that gap, guiding awareness into embodied transformation.

The Three Phases of the Method

The Unlearning Method unfolds through three interconnected phases. They are not rigid steps, but a rhythm you’ll move through again and again — each time deepening your awareness, release, and alignment.

Recognise
The first phase is about awareness. Here you begin to notice the roles, beliefs, and internalised voices that have been shaping your life. Through tools like parts mapping, belief tracing, and reflective journaling, you start to see clearly: what is truly yours, and what was learned along the way.

Release
Awareness opens the door — release allows you to walk through it. This phase centres on emotional integration and nervous system healing. With compassion at the core, we use trauma-informed tools, somatic practices, breathwork, and ritual to gently unhook from old stories and survival strategies.

Reclaim
The final phase is where you rebuild and step forward. Reclaiming means anchoring into your truth, your values, and your self-trust. Through embodiment practices, visualisations, and identity anchors, you begin to live from a place of wholeness and choice, creating a life aligned with who you really are.

Together, these phases create a process of healing that honours your mind, body, and spirit — allowing lasting change to take root in every part of your life.
